Heart of Glass (literalmente, corazón de cristal) fue una popular canción del grupo estadounidense Blondie lanzada en 1979 en el álbum Parallel Lines.

Originalmente, la canción fue grabada en 1975 bajo el nombre "Once I Had a Love" con un ritmo mucho más lento, acercándose más al blues/reggae, siendo una de las principales canciones que tocaba el grupo en sus tours. En 1978 fue regrabada con el mismo nombre, pero orientándola hacia al rock. Posteriormente, cuando Blondie estaba grabando el álbum Parallel Lines, la música disco estaba en pleno auge dentro del panorama musical, hecho que llevó al productor Mike Chapman a darle otro giro a la canción para dejarla tal y como se conoce hoy en día, con un claro ritmo disco, siendo a la vez, una de las canciones más conocidas del grupo. Para la versión single, Chapman acentuó aún más los bajos.

La canción fue lanzada el enero de 1979, alcanzando el puesto número uno en los Estados Unidos y en el Reino Unido. El vídeo musical de la canción fue grabado en la discoteca neoyorquina Studio 54.

Con el anuncio de que la cantante Olivia Newton-John (59) se casó la semana pasada, por segunda vez y en una ceremonia secreta, con el empresario y gurú de la salud John Easterling (49), también ha salido a la luz que la conocida protagonista de Grease celebró el año pasado un primer enlace matrimonial en el Perú.

Según la revista Hola!, la australiana se comprometió el 21 de junio del año pasado en la cima de una montaña en la selva peruana, zona que visitó la artista cuando llegó sorpresivamente días antes a nuestro país para realizar turismo. No obstante, un comunicado emitido por las oficinas del abogado de la estrella, John Mason, dan cuenta que el enlace se ofició nada menos que en el Cusco.

En aquella oportunidad, Newton-John declaró a Día D que efectúo un "viaje astral" tras probar el ayahuasca en su breve paso en nuestro medio.

"También he compartido unos días con la comunidad shipiba, cuyos integrantes son personas maravillosas. Luego visité el Cusco y el Valle Sagrado. Perú es una tierra encantadora", manifestó la actriz en aquel entonces.
